October is Over, Now it's November! or Last Month's Goal Recap and This Month's New Goals!

From my suzanneism Facebook page:

Good morning! It's now October. New Month, New Goals:

1. Weighed in this morning at 269.5. Goal weight for the end of the month is 259.5 or less.

Actual:  Weighed in at 265.5 this morning.  4 pounds down.  In the right direction!

2. I will accomplish total of 2,000 push ups this month.

Actual: 750 Push ups accomplished, which is 750 more done than in September!

3. I will NOT go over my allotted calorie intake any day for the entire month. I will also NOT eat back my exercise calories.

Actual:  I had a really hard time trying to keep under calories pretty much all month, but I still lost 4 lbs!

4. I will do better than 1:42:15 for my next 10k, the Monster Run on 10/19, because I will train diligently this time and continue training for the Perfect 10 on 11/09.

Actual:  The Monster Run was NOT a 10k, it was a Quarter Marathon which is .35 miles LONGER than a 10k.  My finish time was at 1:44:39.86.  My Garmin measured the first 10k of the Quarter at 1:37:19.  Thus, GOAL MET!

5. I will have gone to the gym at LEAST 15 times this month.

I went to the gym exactly 7 times this month.  Less than half, but better than none.

So, 20% of my goals were met, which means, I need to step it up.  I am going to set similar goals until I reach them all.

November Goals:

1.  Lose 10 lbs, starting weight 265.5, goal weight 255.5.

2.  I will accomplish a total of 1,500 push ups this month.

3.  I will NOT go over my allotted calorie intake for at least 70% of the days of this month.  Now, I know I've already failed this for the first three days, so I will do my best to do it for the rest of the month which is 90% of the time.

4.  I will do the Perfect 10 with my Coach this month and will try to maintain if not beat my best 10k time.  This will be my first time running with someone, so, I would just like to do as well.

5.  I will have gone to the gym 10 times this month.  More feasible, since not only do I need to work out, but it is also prime knitting season!  :)  How different are my two hobbies!!!
